Choose by the outfit decision
Best AI virtual try-on
tools in 2026.
The useful choice depends on what you need to make: a personal outfit preview, fashion product imagery, or a try-on feature inside a store. Start with the workflow, then check what the vendor actually documents.

How this comparison was checked
This is a comparison of public documentation, not a hands-on performance ranking. We reviewed the vendors' own product, pricing, help and privacy pages. “Not stated” means those pages did not verify a field; it does not prove the feature is absent. Prices and access can change after the date shown.
Private Try-On publishes this guide and is included on the same fields as the other tools. Its own pricing is loaded from current public configuration. No tool is named the overall winner, and we have not measured comparative accuracy.
Choose the workflow first

- Private Try-On: choose it if you want a browser workflow for comparing separately uploaded outfit pieces.

Lookora
Choose Lookora if you want to preview curated outfits in a browser or use an iPhone wardrobe planner.

Feature sources: Product, outfit builder and limitations.

A 20-second 720p clip uses 10 video credits. A longer preview with two 10-second segments joined. Motion may not be perfectly continuous at the join.
Entry price — checked 2026-10-17: 5 image credits free, once, for an eligible verified account. Starter: $2.99 USD once for 10 image credits, with no subscription. Pricing source.
Stated privacy / retention: Private Try-On privacy statement.
Uploads and results are not written to our database or disk. While a generation runs, our server may hold them in memory for up to 30 minutes, then they expire. Inputs are sent to Agnes to generate the result; Agnes may apply its own retention.
Images are still sent to Agnes to create the requested result. Retention after generation may still apply, and immediate deletion is not claimed.
Based on written confirmation from Agnes support, uploads sent for generation are not used for model training. We cannot link a public Agnes policy for this.
Generation uses cloud processing via Agnes. This is a style preview, not a fit guarantee or proof of exact garment fidelity. Review every seller image against the real product before publishing.

What to check before uploading or paying
- Check the actual input flow. A full-body output does not necessarily mean separate top, bottoms and shoes can be combined.
- Check the product surface. Web, mobile, API and store integrations can have different billing and privacy terms.
- Read retention for both your original photo and the generated result. A local photo library does not establish local generation.
- Use photos you own or have permission to process, and inspect changed details before relying on the preview.
- Choose a size from the retailer's measurements and fit information. A generated image cannot confirm physical fit.
FAQ
Which AI virtual try-on tool should I choose?
Choose by the job: product imagery or an API, shopping with your own photo, a browser wardrobe, or a storefront integration. Compare the supported input workflow, entry price and retention policy before uploading. This guide does not establish an overall winner.
Does a full-body result mean a tool supports whole outfits?
No. A full-body image can show just one substituted garment. Ask whether the tool accepts several separate pieces, a complete outfit reference, or only an eligible product listing. Not stated means the reviewed vendor page did not settle that question.
Is Doppl still available?
Google's official shutdown notice says Doppl stopped working on April 30, 2026. Google directs users to its current virtual try-on experience. The Search and Shopping entry in this guide is a separate feature; Doppl's old video feature should not be assumed to carry over.
Can virtual try-on guarantee my size or fit?
No. Treat generated images as style previews. Check the retailer's measurements, size chart, materials and return terms separately. AI can alter body proportions, fabric, logos, garment details or the background.
